Purchased this GPS unit at a nation wide chain store.

Having used it for a few days it is good GPS does not have voice directions which is fine with me. Its pretty basic GPS but will still tell you where you are and where you are going speed,etc…..u can download updates from the Garmin website. It is easy to use. Easy to see u can change the viewing display screen to show less or more detail and if you’re driving in bright sunlight or at night. Does have an eco friendly program that shows you how much gas you used and such but i have not used it yet.

Overall a good beginner GPS unit.

GPS provides much valueable service than its price. One of the best invention. This model is cheap and has all basic funtions. I’m satisfied.

This is the second 205W I have purchased. Bought the first 4months ago. Setup was fantastically easy, although I also opted to hook up the USB and update the maps right away which took minor wrangling, but I wouldn’t call it hard. The nuvi locates satellites and gets a fix very quickly compared to other GPS units I’ve had, and the processor is fast: it sets up a route pretty much instantly. It has a great database of stores, restaurants, gas stations, other stuff, and has analytics on how you’re driving, fuel economy, etc, which are really useful. The unit can stay on without power for roughly 4hrs on a full charge. Since this is one of the more moderately priced gps units now, you know you’re giving up something, and the main something this one lacks is that when it’s in speaking mode, it doesn’t actually pronounce the names of the roads, “In 500ft turn left on Drummond” but rather “In 500ft, turn left”. Big deal. I can read the screen and see that it says left on Drummond. So I wouldn’t pay more to get that, but for some people, that matters I suppose. My other semi annoyance is that the power cable seems a bit bulky and in the way, but I suppose I could avoid that by having a $2000 *installed* gps. Yeah, forget it.

Overall, this is an excellent instrument at a very fair price, and honestly, it’s so useful in so many ways I can say, I have no idea how I lived without it!

Great product. Ive been using it for about a month now and have no major complaints. Love this little device and cant picture myself without it. PROS= Easy to read and use, price, accuracy. CONS= battery life leaves something to be desired, the touchscreen is a little off or maybe its because I have big fingers. Other than that, this little device is a life saver. Will pay you back in gas and stress saved from getting lost.
