I read the reviews of this being cheap and breaking quickly but I figured the price was cheap so I could gamble. I lost the gamble, it lasted only 2 days before it broke apart. Spend a little more $ and buy one that will last.
This is a good charger – I have had no problems with it. The best feature is it doesn’t put the GPS into data mode, so I can use it while navigating. Excellent price.
I bought the Garmin cord as an extra so I can use the GPS in two different vehicles. This way I just grab the unit, and go.
The cord does not reach from my mount on the window to my lighter connection. I had to move the mount to the dashboard and it is more difficult to see the maps. Also the clip is already coming loose and I’m confident it will fall off within the month. Don’t waste your money on this dog.
Don not buy if you want to use your nuvi at rhe same time as charging. Product only charges nuvi and you cannot see screen whilt it is connected. Do not waste your money.
